RECRUIT

Making traffic accident analysis explainable — we are looking for people to join that journey.

Build this with us

Vision

Why we do this, and where we are headed.

Making traffic accident analysis explainable. After an accident, everyone asks the same question — "why was it judged this way?" Assist analyzes dashcam footage with AI and turns accident type and fault reasoning into evidence anyone can see. A future where accidents are settled by footage and data, not by argument — that is what we are building.
STORY 01

Born in a research lab

We started from robotics and reinforcement-learning research at GIST, and incorporated in 2024 alongside a technology transfer.

STORY 02

Proven as a product

We build and operate 4GoCheck, a dashcam accident analysis service — completing a pipeline that turns a single video into accident type and fault evidence.

STORY 03

Scaling into industry

We run pilot projects with organizations in insurance and traffic safety, turning lab technology into field tools — all the way to 3D accident reconstruction.

How we work

The principles a small team chose to tackle a big problem.

No claim without measurement

Accuracy, speed, cost — every number comes from real measurement. When docs and code disagree, we fix the docs on the spot. Verified facts over unfounded optimism.

From research to product, ourselves

From model experiments to GPU infrastructure to deployment, one team goes all the way. We build tools people use, not technology that ends as a paper.

Working alongside AI

We use AI agents deeply across development and operations. Repetition gets automated; people focus on judgment and verification. We are the team that tries new tools first.

Records move the team

Decisions, experiments, failures — everything is written down. Records become the next person's starting line, and let us work remotely with shared context.

Hiring

Answers to what you are probably wondering.

Q.Who are you looking for?

Attitude before job title. People who argue from evidence, who say "I don't know" when they don't, and who absorb new tools — especially AI — fast enough to multiply their own work. Experience in computer vision / ML engineering, full-stack development, or data pipelines maps directly onto what we do today.

Q.What will I work on?

The AI pipeline that reads accidents out of dashcam footage — preprocessing, collision detection, type and fault analysis, 3D reconstruction — and the services that deliver it to real customers. The whole span between research and product is our territory.

Q.Where do you work?

Headquarters are at GIST in Gwangju, Korea. Our development infrastructure is remote-first — GPU servers and dev environments are reachable from anywhere under the same conditions.

Q.How do I apply?

An informal email is enough. Send anything that shows who you are — a resume, GitHub, things you built, things you wrote — to contact@assistcamera.com. We reply to every application.

We hire year-round

Even without an open position listed, knock if you have a reason to build this with us.
